Planet Creative
was selected by a local entrepreneurial and scientific group to
assist with fundamental work that would lead to the naming, positioning
and branding of a series of new medical/biotechnology devices aimed
at the world consumer markets.
Planet Creative commenced the work with a Business
Discovery Workshop, which is usually the basis for our most fundamental
and challenging work. Over several sessions we worked with the client
executives to develop a name for the new group, which is Global
Energy Medicine (GEM), and the names of the first products,
which are e-cell and e-light.
The products are smart card controlled and
emit beneficial radiation from the small, portable hand-held devices
and are expected to sell extensively in the international market.
They can assist in the repair of skeletal or tissue injury or degeneration.
They are at the forefront of consumer medicine, as a result from
extended clinical investigations in the physiotherapy field over
many years.
Planet Creative assisted the client to develop
the name and identity positions for the company and the products.
Planet Creative also developed the first directions
for the physical design of the actual product that then led to the
detailed CAD design for the product tooling. The work also included
developing a high level fully customised document aimed at commercial
partners (winner of a WA and National design award), as well as
stationary, folders, and the prototype packaging designs.
Planet Creative provided writing services in
order to convert technical language into a more user-friendly document
for potential commercial partners. Planet Creative is now engaged
on stage 2 of the project to fully develop the materials for the
marketing of the e-light product.
